1200 addl buses by UPSRTC for Maghi Purnima

Lucknow: UPSRTC put as many as 1,200 buses in reserve for Maghi Purnima bath on Wednesday.
This is in addition to 3,050 buses that the corporation is already operating for the third and last phase of Maha Kumbh from Feb 8.
While these 3,050 buses will continue to be in operation till Feb 27, 1,200 extra buses have been arranged for the main bathing days, like Maghi Purnima, to handle the extra rush of devotees. These 1,200 buses constitute part of the corporation's rural services and will operate in rural areas as and when needed.
Apart from this, over 750 shuttle buses are also plying in the Sangam area to make it convenient for devotees.
