11 NN corporators quit BSP

allahabad: eleven corporators of the nagar nigam on saturday resigned from the primary membership of the bahujan samaj party to protest the autocratic functioning of party general secretary mayawati. a press release quoting javed iqbal said that he had joined the bahujan samaj swabhiman sangharsh samiti (bs-4) under the leadership of r k chowdhury. but party workers were piqued over the way mayawati was selling tickets to manuvadis.the corporators who resigned from the party and joined the bs-4 included shanti devi, radhey muni yadav, gyan prakash kushwaha, reeta nishad, vikrant yadav, mohd majid, sadiq qadir, sangeeta devi, satish kushwaha, sadiq bachcha and abdul wahab.
