Three of family killed as KSRTC bus collides with auto in Wayanad
Kozhikode: Three members of a family were killed after a KSRTC bus collided head- on with an autorickshaw at Old Vythiri, Wayanad, on Monday morning. The victims were identified as Narayanan M A (44), of Moochiyil House at Cheeral, who was driving the autorickshaw along with his wife Shiji (46) and their son Amal (15). According to Vythiri police, the Mananthavady-bound KSRTC bus crashed into the autorickshaw at 7am. While Narayanan died on the spot, Shiji and Amal succumbed to their injuries at a private hospital in Meppadi. The family was travelling to Kozhikode for Amal's treatment when the accident occurred. Police have registered case under sections 281 and 106 (1) of BNS against the driver of the KSRTC bus.
