Kerala: Bahrain returnee tests positive for coronavirus infection

A 37-year-old non-resident Keralite tested positive for coronavirus infection after he arrived from Bahrain at Karipur airport on May 12. It was the first Covid-19 case reported after a gap of 19 days. The last coronavirus case in Kozhikode district was reported on April 23.

KOZHIKODE: A 37-year-old non-resident Keralite tested positive for coronavirus infection after he arrived from Bahrain at Karipur airport on May 12. It was the first Covid-19 case reported after a gap of 19 days. The last coronavirus case in Kozhikode district was reported on April 23.
The Vadakara native was referred to the Kozhikode Government Medical College hospital after developing suspected symptoms of Covid-19.

The health department officials said that his condition was stable.
With this, the total number of Covid-19 cases reported in Kozhikode rose to 25 of which 24 have recovered from the disease.
