Kolhapur: The Solapur unit of CPM protested outside the district collectorate against the US-Israel attack on Iran, leading to the death of school children in Iran's capital city Tehran during the conflict.
The protest was led by CPM's senior leader and ex-MLA Narsayya Adam, district secretary Yusuf Major and state member of CPM Anil Wasam.

The protesters wore black attire, raised black flags and raised slogans against the US and Israel, besides burning the effigy of US President Donald Trump and Israel PM Benjamin Netanyahu.
"While the holy month of Ramzan is going on, the imperialist forces attacked Iran. They killed 160 students at a school.
The photos of the burial of the kids has brought grief and anger to every sane individual on this planet. The two-thirds of US citizens claim that their president is a war monger. It is the responsibility of every CPM member to fight against US's imperialism. Therefore, we have stepped out to protest as per our strength," Adam said.
Other leaders claimed that the attack was to dominate the region and grab the oil produced in Iran.
Meanwhile, some members of a right wing group tried to disrupt the protest by raising slogans in support of the attack. The police, however, escorted the right wing protesters to avoid scuffle between the two sides.
