Bring peace to Manipur: Church

Kochi: Varapuzha archdiocese launched a letter campaign urging authorities to resolve the crisis in Manipur at the earliest. Church officials said the office-bearers of 2,205 family units of the archdiocese will send postcard letters to the President and the Prime Minister in this regard. The archdiocese has started issuing the matter to be written in these postcards.
The members have been told to write the postcards in their own handwriting in English and Hindi.Archdiocese told its members to write this message: “Please get involved in the Manipur situation right away. Please take immediate action to restore peace in Manipur and to stop the attacks against Christians in Manipur”. TNN
