Kanpur: The two-day exhibition and seller/buyer meet organized by the Indian Footwear Components Manufacturers Association (IFCOMA) garnered approximately Rs 150 crore in orders from buyers, and sellers anticipate a substantial influx of orders from shoe manufacturers.
The event, held at the CLE multipurpose hall in the KLC Complex, Banthar, Unnao, was inaugurated by chief guest Mukhatarul Amin, chairman of the Super House Group and LSSC, Rajendra Jalan, chairman of CLE, Sabiha Rizvi, director of DPIIT, in the presence of Javed Iqbal, Sanjay Gupta, Asad Kamal Iraqi, chairman of regional CLE, Pradeep Agarwal, and other dignitaries.
The exhibition featured 65 shoe component manufacturing companies showcasing their products across 80 stalls. During the event, the organizers honored Nazar Mohammad Saheb (Pioneer Trading Industries) and Gulshan Kumar Dhupar (M/s Dhuper Chemicals) with lifetime achievement awards for their significant contributions to the industry. Taj Alam of Kings International was honored with the Pioneer of Industry Excellence award.
Additionally, Anil Khemka (M/s Indcoat Footwear) and Rafey Iqbal (Baljaru India Pvt Ltd) were presented with the IFCOMA Excellence Award and IFCOMA Young Entrepreneur Award, respectively. Naresh Kumar Agarwal of JK Agarwal & Sons was honored with the Legendary Partner Award.
IFCOMA, a non-profit trading institution representing shoe and shoe component manufacturers, works to promote the interests of its members. The organization not only arranges exhibitions and buyer/seller meets within India but also actively participates in international fairs to expand business opportunities for its members.
