The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) will launch a four-day tour package for historical cities of Agra, Fatehpur Sikri, Ajmer and Pushkar in July.

KANPUR: The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) will launch a four-day tour package for historical cities of Agra, Fatehpur Sikri, Ajmer and Pushkar in July.
The IRCTC will be charging Rs 2,052 per head. The charges include travel fare, catering and local sightseeing. Also, the cost of catering at the tourist places mentioned in the tour package will also be borne by the IRCTC.

The tour will be leaving Lucknow via Kanpur on July 30. The passengers will be provided tickets on 'first come first serve' basis. The interested persons could get the seats confirmed by either visiting the IRCTC office situated on platform number one of Kanpur Central Railway Station or can log on to www.railtourismindia.com. The passengers can also get the seats booked through the authorised railway ticket vendors.
Chief regional manager, IRCTC, Manoj Sinha said that the special focus has been laid on passenger safety. IRCTC will be providing travel insurance to all the passengers who will be travelling in the special train.
"Security guards will also travel on the special tourist train. The journey, which will commence on July 30 to culminate on August 2," he said.
He said that IRCTC is planning to come up with more such tour packages in future
The month-long tour to 12 Jyotirlingas is continuing and end after a few days. The two tour packages launched by IRCTC to Vaishno Devi shrine in June were successful.
