TSAF flags off Everest expedition
Jamshedpur: The Tata Steel Adventure Foundation (TSAF) flagged off a new seven-week expedition to scale Mt Everest on Friday. The initiative was officially launched by Tata Steel vice president corporate services Chanakya Chaudhary.
The expedition will start from April 3 and is expected to conclude around May 15 while the trek will start from April 6 from Kathmandu.

16-year-old Kaamya Karthikeyan from Mumbai is one of the star mountaineers in the team. Kaamya, a recipient of Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Shakti Puraskar, has a list of summit scores across six continents. The team also comprises Kaamya's father Commander S Karthikeyan of the Indian Navy. TNN
