O N Dixit ITF World Tennis Masters MT-400: Dhawal Patel, VS Singh Negi, Jagdish Tanwar, Rani Smita emerge champions

Jaipur: Dhawal Patel, VS Singh Negi, Jagdish Tanwar, Rani Smita, Sohini Kumari and Sanjana Jain claimed the singles titles of their respective categories on the third day of the O N Dixit ITF World Tennis Masters MT-400 tournament at the Jai Club courts here on Monday.In the women's 30 plus group doubles final, Rani Smita Jain-Sohini Kumari beat Chetna-Aseri 6-0, 6-1 to win the title.In the men's 30 plus singles semifinals, Lavish Nehra defeated Vyomesh Rana 6-2, 6-2, while Shashikant Ramani thumped Jaganmaya Panigrahi 6-3, 6-4.Rohan Bhasin downed Sumesh Nair 6-4, 6-1, while Samrat Bhasin accounted for Dilip Mohanty in a close contest 6-3, 5-7, 10-5 to storm into the men's 45 plus singles final.In the men's 50 plus singles summit clash, Jagdish Tanwar outclassed Shalabh Singhpuria 6-0, 6-3 to win the title.Srinivas Reddy Gunnala dismissed Tikkam Singh Panwar 6-3, 6-1 in the men's 55 plus singles semis. He will face Bal Kishan Bhatia, who prevailed over Ashutosh Avinash Pednekar 6-1, 6-7(4), 10-7 in the final.The men's 70 plus singles crown was grabbed by Bhag Nand Singh Negi, who brushed aside Dilip Shivpuri 6-1, 6-1 in the final.In the men's 75 plus singles, Dhawal Patel emerged victorious after beating Rajendra Goyal 6-2, 6-7, 11-9 in an exciting final.
