On Friday night, the picturesque City Palace transformed into a cultural hub as musical night was organized as part of Jaipur By Nite.Food stalls were set up all around the Mubarak Mahal.The evening at the Palace's Sarvatobhadra Chowk kicked off with Manganiyar singer Mame Khan and his troupe regaling the audience with their renditions of folk songs including Kesariya Balam, Hitchki and Mast Qalandar , among others.

Another highlight of the evening was a powerpacked performance by
Indian Ocean band. From Kandisa and Akhiyan Udeek Diyan to Mann Kasturi and Banjaranama, the band won the hearts of the audience with their soulful notes. Apart from enjoying the musical performances, the audience also sampled delicacies from different cities. “That's what we call night tourism a fest where one can indulge in eating and hanging out with friends, without being restricted by time. Generally, we do not find much to do late in the evenings in India,“ said Sandra and Mathews, a tourist couple from Morocco.
