Jaipur: The New India Assurance Company Limited performed brilliantly in the ongoing BOB Corporate Golf Cup to enter the quarter-finals at the Rambagh Golf Club here on Tuesday.In the knockout match, New India Assurance defeated Shri Krishna Corporate team to seal last-eight spot.

In this week's match, playing for New India Assurance, the pair of Kamal Singh Naruka and Manish Kumawat Junior beat Rajan Sanghi and JK Ranka in the alternate shot format.In the final match, the pair of Navratna Singh Rathore and Ram Singh made it to the last 8 by trouncing BM Raturi and Sunil Beniwal in a thrilling encounter that lasted till the 16th hole in the match play format.A total of 37 teams are participating in the league cum knockout tournament which has been going on for the last two months.The New India Assurance team, playing under the captaincy of Dr Devendra Kumar, displayed excellent show and entered the pre-quarterfinals by topping Group B of the league matches with the highest score of 400 points.New India Assurance will face Mahima Ki Udaan in the quarters. Other teams that entered the quarter-finals are Sawai Golfers, Theek Thaak Golf, Pink City Golfers, NBS Karki, Nirbana Tigers and Team Kishan Rungta.
