121 IAS, IPS & IFS officers promoted
Jaipur: The state government on Tuesday promoted 121 officers of IAS, IPS and IFS cadre.
The department of personnel (DoP) in a late night order announced promotion of 53 IAS, 40 IPS and 28 IFS officers.
Five IAS officers of Rajasthan cadre were promoted to the rank additional chief secretary (ACS) including Rajeshwar Singh, Niranjan Kumar Arya and Rohit Kumar Singh; while V Srinivas and Shubra Singh are currently on central deputation.

Five IAS were promoted to the rank of principal secretary which includes Praveen Gupta, Bhaskar Sawant, Rajeev Singh Thakur, Ashwini Bhagat, and KL Meena. The government also elevated 2003 batch IAS officers to suppertime pay scale.
The government also issued notification to promote three inspector generals of police (IGs) of the state cadre to the rank of additional director general of police (ADGPs). Jaipur police commissioner Anand Kumar Srivastav, IG Bharatpur Malini Agarwal and IG Ashok Rathore have been given the rank of ADGPs. The Rajasthan police also got three new IGs after DIG Prafulla Kumar, R Suhasa, and SN Khinchi were promoted as IGs.
Jaipur Rural SP Ajay Pal Lamba, DCP Jaipur (North) Satyendra Singh, DCP Jaipur (West) Ashok Gupta, Bikaner SP Sawai Singh Godara, Alwar and SP Rajendra Singh were among 10 senior rank SPs who have been promoted to the rank of deputy inspector generals of police (DIGPs). The promotions at ADGP, IG, DIG and SPs ranks have also paved way for the transfers of IPS officers in the state. Sources said that the IPS transfers were put on hold as the government waited for the promotions.
