739 IIM-I students of 7 programmes get degrees
Indore: See yourself as the top 1 per cent of the world and this 1 per cent has the moral responsibility towards the rest of 99 per cent of the world, said Arun Kumar Singh, chairman, Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) at the 24th annual convocation of the Indian Institute of Management , Indore (IIM)on Saturday.
The chief guest at the occasion Singh said, “Each one of you is extremely privileged and ample opportunities will stretch out as you enter the world.

Singh highlighted the importance of 4Ds - demographic shift, digitalisation, decarbonisation, and partial deglobalization which are creating endless opportunities.
Singh advised students to be a net giver, take chances and do not shy away from challenges because opportunities are infinite.
He said, decarbonisation is saving us billions while partial deglobalisation presents infinite opportunities for those willing to take risks.
A total of 739 participants from seven flagship programmes received degrees on this occasion.
M M Murugappan, Chairman, Board of Governors, IIM Indore said, “Learning is meaningful when it is lifelong and knowledge gained in and beyond the classroom is vital to all-round development. To the graduating class of 2023, our congratulations on your achievements and very best wishes in your future endeavors.”

Gold medals for scholastic performance in the Post Graduate Programme in Management rank 1, 2 and 3 were awarded to Vasu Golyan, Agam Jain and Manswinee R Thakur.
Dhruv Dhhochak was awarded Gold Medal for Scholastic Performance Rank 1 for the Integrated Programme in Management.
Professor Himanshu Rai, director, IIM Indore said, “Hold on to your self-belief and positive thinking. Contribute to the nation, beloved India and with a zeal akin to the Avengers fighting for the greater good.
He emphasized on the importance of unyielding faith in one’s own abilities and urged the graduates to approach every challenge with a mind ready to absorb every positive aspect.
In the Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management gold medal for Scholastic Performance, rank 1 was awarded to Prashant Kumar Singh. Priyanka Das was awarded the gold medal scholastic performance, rank 1 in the Post Graduate Programme in Management for Working Executives.
