Telangana: Man suffers electric shock while trying to tie movie poster at cinema hall

HYDERABAD: A 20-year-old mason suffered severe burns following an electric shock while trying to tie the poster of Sahoo movie starring Tollywood actor Prabhas at Tirumala cinema hall in Mahbubnagar town on Wednesday.
According to police, K Venkatesh--a mason from Boipally village in Mahbubnagar district--was trying to tie the poster on the cinema hall premises while standing on the first floor of the building.
"His hand went close to a transformer wire next to the cinema hall and he suffered an electric shock. Venkatesh fell from the building and we shifted him to Gandhi Hospital in Hyderabad. His condition is critical," Mahbubnagar police said. Police registered a case of negligence.
