Telangana high court tells DGP to look into evangelist Paul's security plea

HYDERABAD: The Telangana high court on Thursday converted a letter by controversial evangelist K A Paul on his security into a suo motu writ petition and directed the DGP to look into the issue. Paul claimed that he had Z-plus security in the past which was removed by the Telangana government after 2019.
While a bench of Chief Justice Ujjal Bhuyan and Justice N Tukaramji was hearing him, Paul traversed beyond his security plea.The bench then asked Paul to confine himself to security issue and told DGP to assess his security and take a decision. tnn
