HYDERABAD: After Congress’s six guarantees and a BRS manifesto packaged as “KCR Bharosa”,
BJP’s Telangana unit is set to unveil its “Modi guarantee” to woo voters ahead of the polls.
Details obtained by
TOI indicate a prominent feature of the BJP manifesto will be a scheme called “Dalit Ratna” to counter BRS’ “Dalit Bandhu”.
The party will focus more on making youth job creators rather than job seekers.
According to highly placed sources, BJP is trying to package various initiatives of the central government for Dalits and other components under the tag “Dalit Ratna”.
“It is not like 'Dalit Bandhu' where Dalits are given Rs 10 lakh to start their own units. There are several subsidies and other elements. We have organised things in such a way that Dalits will actually get the promised benefit and all the schemes will be implemented,” a top BJP politician said.
BJP has already promised a job calendar, but the party will also talk about job creators. Several components will be similar to BJP manifestos in other poll-bound states.
“The manifesto is almost ready, we are vetting the document. We are a national party and we follow certain set norms across states,” state BJP chief G Kishan Reddy said.
