HYDERABAD: Joining the race in announcing spree of sops to various sections of the people,
Telangana Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has promised loan waver up to Rs 2 lakh to farmers, free borewell or pump sets to farmers, free laptops to graduates, stipend to unemployed youth, free bicycles to girls studying from 7 to 10 and scooty on subsidy to girls studying graduation and above, new autos to auto drivers and other schemes.
Releasing election manifesto at BJP headquarters on Thursday, BJP state president K Laxman said the manifesto was prepared taking opinions from various sections of people including experts in 15 subjects like agriculture, urban development electricity, irrigation and education. "Even we have invited suggestions both online, offline. About 4,500 suggestions were received from the people," Laxman said.
He announced while the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) had failed to fulfil the promises made in its 2014 election manifesto, BJP would implement 100 per cent if it is voted to power in the state, the party president said.
The major promises include:* Farm loan waiver up to Rs 2 lakh.

*Rs 5000 a month rent to 2 BHK eligible persons till they get houses
*Notification to fill up vacancies in various government departments within three months.
*Mega DSC for recruitment of teachers
*Rs 3,116 monthly stipend to unemployed youth
*No examination fee for government competitive examinations
*No interview for government jobs. Recruitment based only on written tests
*Rs 10 lakh financial assistance to Telangana martyrs
* Rs 5 pension to people who were jailed during Telangana movement
*IT expansion to tier II cities like Karimnagar, Warangal, Nizamabad and Nalgonda
*Distribution of one lakh cows during festivals
* September 17 will be celebrated as Telangana Liberation Day officially.
*Extension of Metro Rail to Patancheru, Suraram, Kompally, Alwal, ECIL, Rajendranagar
*Construction of 100 flyovers to ease congestion in the city
