HYDERABAD: The state government Wednesday effected a minor bureaucratic reshuffle involving eight IAS officers.
PV Ramesh, awaiting a posting for the last three months, was appointed principal secretary of finance in place of T Satyanarayana Rao who was named MD of the AP State Finance Corporation. Rao succeeds Vikas Raj.
Vikas Raj was given posting as secretary for rural water supply and sanitation in the panchayati raj and rural development department.

He replaces Chitra Ramachandran who has been awarded the prized posting of principal secretary of endowments, a position held till recently by KV Ramana Chary.
CR Biswal, principal secretary of industries and commerce, was shifted to the panchayati raj department. K Pradeep Chandra was transferred to the AP State Warehousing Corporation as its vice-chairman and managing director. He had been occupying the post of commissioner of inquiries.
Former Hyderabad water board chief M Jagadeeshwar, who, too, was awaiting a posting, was named managing director of AP Beverages Corporation in place of M Subramanyam.
Subramanyam was moved to the Board of Intermediate Education as secretary.
