School salary: Court Notice To Official

Hyderabad: Justice Abhinand Kumar Shavili of Telangana high court on Friday issued a notice of appearance (form-1) to state school education commissioner A Devasena, directing her to appear before the court on March 10 to explain why she failed to implement the court order in respect of paying salaries to the staff of an aided school in Hyderabad.
The judge gave this order while hearing a contempt case filed by Refah-E-Aam High School, Hari Bowli, which runs on a grant-in-aid from the state government.
Appearing for the school, senior counsel P Gangaiah Naidu said the state government has been dodging the issue.
“The negligence looks purposeful. It is unfair to delay even in respect of paying sala
ries to the staff and teachers,” he said. tnn
