Won’t let state become ‘udta Telangana’: CM

Hyderabad: Hitting out at the BRS government for the growing drug culture in the state, chief minister A Revanth Reddy said that he will not allow Telangana to become another Punjab.
Assuring to wipe out evils of drug menace from the state, the CM accused the BRS of forming a special cell against the drug cartel and not giving enough funds and staff required to crack down the peddlers.
Stating that the new Congress government has decided to extend full budgetary support and staff to root out the drug culture, CM Revanth sought the support of BRS, AIMIM, CPI and BJP members present in the Assembly and also other political parties to extend their cooperation to wipe out menace.
