Ponguleti, Jupally meet Eatala, say no decision yet to join BJP

Hyderabad: Claiming that he has not taken any decision on joining the BJP, former Khammam MP and suspended BRS leader Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy on Thursday said that he will make sure that ‘anti-government’ vote will not split in the coming assembly polls.
Speaking to reporters after meeting the BJP joinings committee head, Huzurabad MLA Eatala Rajender, Srinivas Reddy said: “We all are very clear in our thoughts that time has come to unseat the BRS government in Telangana.BJP leaders have invited me to join their party. We have six months time for the elections but we will make sure that our aim is achieved.”
He said the meeting took place in a cordial manner but he will talk to more leaders and his followers before taking any decision. The meeting took place for more than five hours at Srinivas Reddy’s residence in Khammam.
Another BRS suspended leader, former minister Jupally Krishna Rao also attended the meeting.
After the closed-door meeting, Eatala said: “We met both of the senior leaders on the directions of Union home minister Amit Shah.”
