However, the rains skipped Hyderabad on both days with gusty winds seen throughout the evening hours.
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the weekend saw a drop in temperatures in various districts, with the highest drop recorded in Bhadrachalam and Medak.
In Hyderabad, temperatures dropped by a degree, with the maximum temperature recorded at 33.3 degree Celsius. Hyderabad saw its highest temperature at 35.5 degree Celsius on Feb 21.
According to IMD, the rainy conditions are likely to continue on Monday. “As the cyclonic circulation over Marathwada and the neighbouring region has become less marked, along with the wind discontinuity, a reduction in rains is expected from Monday,” said officials from IMD.
The districts which are likely to see some traces of rain include, Adilabad, Asifabad, Nirmal and Nizamabad with other districts to experience overcast weather.
