Heavy rains lash Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: Heavy rains lashed several parts of Telangana, including Hyderabad city, from Tuesday night and continued on Wednesday morning.
Several low lying areas were inundated and water entered into the houses in a few localities. The rain also caused waterlogging on roads.
The Indian Meteorological Department has indicated that moderate to heavy rains are expected in several parts of Telangana in the next four days.
Aswapuram recorded 10 cm rainfall and 6 cm rainfall was registered at Garla, Paloncha, Chandrugonda, Palakurthy and Kothagudem.
