Four arrested for eatery brawl in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: A brawl between customers of Olive Bristo Restaurant near Durgam Cheruvu led to the arrest of four people on Wednesday night. The brawl reportedly broke out over parking a car.
Madhapur police said that the arrested, Kiran Kumar, Jitender Kumar, Sandeep Reddy and Bala Kishore, allegedly attacked a businessman, Vinod Kumar Reddy. Three out of the four accused are also businessmen and had come to the restaurant to attend a birthday function.
Police said that the brawl started when Vinod allegedly pulled up the restaurant's watchman, Aathmaram, after finding his car surrounded by other vehicles and it was in no position to be moved.
“Meanwhile, the four accused came to the rescue of the watchman and attacked Vinod,” Madhapur SI P Rajesh said. The accused were arrested under section 323 (punishment for voluntarily causing hurt) and 341 (punishment for wrongful restraint) of IPC and let off on Thursday after granting bail.
