HYDERABAD: Taking strong exception to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's remarks in Nizamabad public meeting that chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao had tried to join the NDA and also sought his blessings to make his son (KTR) the next CM, minister KT Rama Rao said the PM had lowered the dignity of his office by speaking lies at a public meeting.
"A PM displaying such blatant dishonesty is utterly disgraceful and condemnable.

Telangana CM KCR is a fighter who would never join hands with a 'cheat' like Modi, who is also a liar. The PM should try his hand in scriptwriting. He has a good chance of winning the Oscar," KTR said on Tuesday.
Referring to the Modi-led BJP as the biggest 'jhuta and jumla factory' in the country, KTR said the BRS leaders were not bitten by a rabid dog to lose their mind and join the NDA. Calling the NDA as a sinking ship, the minister pointed out that parties such as Shiv Sena, TDP, JD (U) and Shiromani Akali Dal had already left it and at present only CBI, ED, and I-T were a part of NDA.
"PM Modi claimed that CM KCR sought his permission to appoint me as CM. Why would we need your permission for any decision to be taken by our party and its leadership. Party MLAs would elect the CM and leader of the House," KTR said.
He also dismissed the allegation that BRS had funded Congress in Karnataka and asked if that was true then what was the income tax departments doing. They can probe it if they want, he said.
On PM's comments about family rule and politics, KTR said Modi was suffering from selective amnesia. He should talk about Union home minister Amit Shah's son Jay Shah's appointment as secretary of BCCI, KTR said.
"The PM turns a blind eye to these facts and only targets BRS," KTR said, adding that whichever state the PM visits he calls the CM the most corrupt leader.
"BJP tourists are welcome to visit Telangana. In the previous election, BJP lost deposit in 105 seats and this time they will lose deposit in 110 seats. They will also not win a single MP seat here," KTR said.
The minister said the BRS, with the blessings of the people of Telangana, would win and KCR will become a 'hat-rick CM' soon.
