Hyderabad:
Telangana Congress vice president Chamala
Kiran Kumar Reddy on Wednesday found fault with municipal minister KT Rama Rao for trying to project that the development of Greater Hyderabad was done by the BRS government alone.
“Greater Hyderabad was put on the global map by the previous Congress governments with big ticket projects like construction of the ORR, taking forward the Hyderabad Metro Rail project, and even the
Rajiv Gandhi International airport at Shamshabad was opened during the previous Congress government in 2008,” Kiran Reddy said.
He sought to remind KTR that even Krishna and Godavari water supply projects were brought to Hyderabad by the Congress.
Kiran Reddy demanded that KTR confirm how many homeless have been given 2-BHK units.
“Is it not true that
Telangana was a revenue-surplus state when
Sonia Gandhi gave statehood and today it has 5 lakh crore debt?” he asked. TNN
