‘BJP driving Sharmila’s YSRTP to cut Cong votes’

Hyderabad: The YS Sharmila-led YSR Telangana Party (YSRTP) was an arrow released by the BJP to target Congress votes in Telangana, Congress MLA T Jayaprakash Jagga Reddy said on Monday.
“Sharmila has never criticised Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union home minister Amit Shah. She only keeps targeting the TRS and Congress,” Jagga Reddy said.
He accused Sharmila of launching YSRTP at the behest of the BJP to cut Congress votes among people from Andhra and Rayalaseema who have made Greater Hyderabad their home.
Slamming Sharmila for going against what her father, the late CM Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, stood for, he said, “YSR was a staunch Congressman. Sharmila should introspect whether she or her mother or even brother and AP chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy are trying to fulfil YSR’s fervent wish to make Rahul Gandhi Prime Minister.”Jagga Reddy also advised Sharmila to get her facts right as it was her father YSR who had invited him into the Congress when he was with TRS.tnn
