Hyderabad: 3 held for forging death certificate

HYDERABAD: Cops arrested three women for allegedly forging a death certificate and other documents to grab a house plot at Uppal on Friday. The accused were identified as Pasala Jyothi (33), Kum Pasala Vennela (19) and Balla Jyothi (27).
According to Uppal police, the complainant, Pachipulusu Varalakshmi Kumari, a resident of RK Puram in Kothapet, bought an open plot of 267 sq yards in Sriramanapuram.She did not visit the plot in last four years.
The main accused, P Jyothi, a resident of the same locality, noticed the plot. She took the help of Vennela and Balla Jyothi and created Kumari’s death certificate by forging Bayyaram gram panchayat secretary’s the signature. The matter came to light when the complainant visited her plot and the accused obstructed her.A case was registered.
