We will expose BJP in 10 days: Saleem

Davanagere: Legislative council chief whip Saleem Ahmad said the Congress would make people aware and expose the BJP before voters in the Davanagere South assembly constituency within the next 10 days.He told reporters here on Monday the BJP govt at the Centre has been spreading lies for the past 12 years. "We will make people aware of this and expose the BJP before voters in Davanagere South assembly constituency. PM Modi and his NDA govt have not fulfilled a single promise made 12 years ago when they came to power," he charged.He further accused the BJP of not bringing back black money to India, providing 2.5 crore jobs, or doubling farmers' income. Responding to a question on whether Zameer Ahmad would come to campaign in Davanagere, he said: "There is no need to invite anyone for campaigning. It is the duty of every Congress worker to come and campaign for the party's victory. Minister Mallikarjun did not invite us either. However, the party has given us responsibility, and we are working accordingly. Similarly, everyone should understand their responsibility and work," he added.
