Gurugram: As the government has refused to roll back its order announcing the extension of winter break by a week, private schools and their associations have decided to move the court. An umbrella body of private schools in the state,
Haryana progressive school conference, on Sunday told TOI that they will file a plea in the
Punjab and Haryana high court on Monday seeking exemption from this blanket ban on physical classes till January 23.
“After much deliberation, we have decided to take a legal course in this issue. We had objected to the decision and even urged the government to reconsider its decision, but to no avail,” said Haryana progressive school conference vice-president Suresh Chander. The department, on its part, maintained that the decision was taken after reviewing the situation.
