GURUGRAM: Former HSVP administrator and IAS officer Anita Yadav has issued a legal notice to RTI activist Harinder Dhingra for defamation. Yadav claimed that Dhingra has misguided the court, following which an FIR was registered against her and nine others for allegedly helping an owner to illegally re-sell a plot in Sector 56.
However, Dhingra said everything is on record.
“I stand by every word in my petition and I have enough documents, received through RTI, to prove my case.
The court had taken cognisance of it and directed for the registration of the FIR,” said Dhingra adding that he has not received the notice yet.
Following the court’s direction, an FIR was registered at Sector 14 police station. During the court hearing, Dhingra informed that HSVP had allotted a plot in Sector 56 to Dr Prabha Manchanda for the construction of a hospital and possession was given to her in July 1997. Dr Manchanda sold the plot to the directors of Sanjivani Life Care Medical Pvt Ltd in November 2006.
Harinder Dhingra had alleged that the plot was illegally sold violating the provisions of HSVP.
Yadav refuted the allegations and said, “Estate officers are responsible for the allotment, resumption and re-allotment and revised demarcation of the plots. In this particular case, everything was done as per the rules and on the recommendations of the estate officer. DTP and STP and I had not role in it,” she said.
Meanwhile, estate officer Vivek Kalia, who was also made party in the case, claimed that he was not posted with HSVP when the file related to the hospital site was moved.
