Man dies while fixing excavator

BICHOLIM: A 40-year-old Jharkhand native, who was working on an excavator machine at Narvem, Bicholim, died on the spot when the bucket of the machine struck him on the head.
Bicholim police said, the deceased, identified as Sonu Bhoya, was repairing the machine when the bucket of the machine suddenly came down and struck him on the head.
Bhoya died on the spot.The body of the deceased has been preserved at the Goa medical college and hospital, Bambolim. PSI Vijay Rane is investigating the case.
