Erode East byelection a preview of Karnataka assembly polls, says Dinesh Gundu Rao

ERODE: Tamil Nadu's Congress in-charge Dinesh Gundu Rao said his party candidate EVKS Elangovan's victory in the Erode East assembly byelection will be a preview for the Karnataka assembly . "Congress will form the government in Karnataka soon," he said.
During the campaign for Elangovan at Vairapalayam on Wednesday, Rao said the results of the byelection would give an answer to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who's doing politics on unity in diversity.
VCK chief Thol Tirumavalavan in his speech condemned the income tax search at the BBC office in New Delhi. He said the Modi government was trying to strangle the freedom of the press by carrying out such searches.
