Magnitude 2.1 earthquake hits Delhi, no casualties

Mild tremors were felt in northwest Delhi on Sunday noon. According to the National Center for Seismology, an earthquake of magnitude 2.1 on the Richter Scale occurred at 12.02pm.

NEW DELHI: Mild tremors were felt in northwest Delhi on Sunday noon.
According to the National Center for Seismology, an earthquake of magnitude 2.1 on the Richter Scale hit the Punjabi Bagh area of the national capital at 12.02pm.

The epicentre of the quake was at 28.67 degrees North latitude and 77.14 degrees East longitude, with a depth of 7km, it said.

However, there have been no reports of any injuries, loss of life or damage to property.
