After strong tremors in Nepal, 4.3 magnitude earthquake jolts Uttarakhand

DEHRADUN: An earthquake of magnitude 4.3 on the Richter Scale hit Pithoragarh district and adjoining parts in Uttarakhand on Wednesday morning.
The tremors were felt around 6.27am.

The depth of the earthquake was 5 km below the ground, said National Center for Seismology
On Sunday, an earthquake of magnitude 4.5 was reported in hit Tehri Garhwal district.
Meanwhile, the tremor with its epicentre in Nepal and measuring 6.3 on the Ritcher scale was felt in the national capital and nearby areas on Wednesday early morning.
