Krishnagiri: A 3-year-old girl and a four-year-old girl, both daughters of a guest worker from Bihar, died after sacks containing livestock feed stacked in the farm where their father was employed fell on them in Krishnagiri on Friday.
Police said Mohamed Jagavath, 30, from Bihar's Sitamarhi district was working in the poultry farm owned by J Ravikumar at Gopasamudram village in Krishnagiri. Jagavath was staying with his family in the farm. His daughters Sharbanu and Ayathkathun were playing in a room were the livestock feed was stored. The sacks containing the feed fell on them and when the workers noticed it, both were unconscious. They were rushed to the hospital, but were pronounced dead upon arrival.
