Coimbatore: A pedestrian was killed on Tuesday after he was knocked down by a speeding car at Kalangattu Pudur in Kinathukadavu. Police said R Karthik, in his 20s, was walking down the street around 8pm when he was knocked down by a speeding car, killing him on the spot. The Kinathukadavu police have registered a case based on a complaint from the victim’s mother Veerammal, 45, and initiated a probe.
