CHENNAI: Two suspects in the American national Kelly Lawrer Baker molestation case were released on bail by a sessions court here on Tuesday.
Principal sessions judge Aruna Jagadeesan granted conditional bail to Jose Mathew and Shaji John and directed them to sign before the Teynampet police daily at 10 a.m. until further orders. She also asked them to execute a personal bond for Rs 5,000 and furnish two sureties for a like sum each.
Baker suspected that she might have been sexually assaulted by the accused, who had taken her in a car from a night club on the night of May 24.

She lodged a complaint with the Teynampet police on May 28, suspecting sexual assault.
