Sani Peyarchi at Thirunallar temple: TNSTC to operate special buses from Chennai, Trichy, Coimbatore and other places

TRICHY: Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation (TNSTC) Kumbakonam division will operate 200 special buses for the Sani Peyarchi event (celestial Saturn transit) at the Dharbaranyeswarar Temple in Thirunallar in Karaikal -- an enclave of the Union territory of Puducherry -- on December 20. TNSTC Kumbakonam said the special buses to Karaikal will be operated from December 19. The special buses will be from Chennai, Coimbatore, Trichy, Salem, Madurai, Erode and Ramanathapuram.Tickets can be booked online on TNSTC website (www.tnstc.in) or the TNSTC official Android mobile application. TNSTC said more special buses could be run based on the pattern of online bookings. Special buses will be operated till the demand declines.
