NLCIL bags award for best HR practices

Cuddalore: National institute of personnel management (NIPM) has bestowed NLC India Limited chairman and managing director S K Acharya with the ‘NIPM Ratna Award recognizing his contributions in the field of human resource management.
NIPM also honoured NLCIL with national award for best HR practices -2017” for building employee engagement and leadership talent capabilities and practices that deliver real change for organization.Tamil official language, culture and archaeology minister K Pandiarajan presented the award to Acharya in the presence of NIPM national president Somesh Das Gupta during the 36th NIPM annual conference at Chennai. Pandiarajan also presented the national award for NLCIL to company official R Vikraman.
Speaking on the occasion, Acharya, who was also the chairman of the conference said human resource professionals need to tune themselves to cope up with new change options according to disruptions taking place in technology, economics and policies of the country. TNN
