Chennai Metrowater's Anakaputhur water supply improvement scheme inaugurated

CHENNAI: Municipal administration and water supply minister KN Nehru on Tuesday inaugurated Chennai Metrowater's Rs 18.88crore worth water supply improvement scheme at Anakaputhur in the Pammal zone of the Tambaram Corporation.
The water supply augmentation work began in 2014, and it will benefit around 60,000 people.
The inauguration event was attended by micro, small and medium enterprises department minister T M Anbarasan, Sriperumbudur MP TR Baalu, Pallavaram MLA E Karunanidhi and Tambaram MLA SR Raja.
