Vikram Dev Dutt joins, reshuffle in administration

CHANDIGARH: As the new IAS officer of AGMUT cadre, Vikram Dev Dutt, joined the UT administration on Monday, the administration witnessed a major reshuffle. The newly-joined 1993 batch officer Vikram Dev Dutt got eight charges of the administration.
Dutt has been given the charges of secretary, personnel, secretary, environment and forests, secretary, science and technology, secretary, hospitality, secretary, public relations, secretary, urban planning, secretary, technical education and secretary, transport.All these departments are of very crucial nature and remain the centre of activities on a daily basis.
SDM (central) Prince Dhawan has been assigned the charge of assistant estate officer (headquarter) also. He was holding seven other charges.
In addition to this, Kamlesh Kumar, director public instructions (Schools), will also look after the charge of the post of director, technical education, UT, in addition to his own duties, with immediate effect.
Dr SB Deepak Kumar was recently given the charge of deputy commissioner, district magistrate and estate officer after the repatriation of former DC Mohammad Shayin.
