CHANDIGARH: Led by Sunny Mehta, a national delegate of National Students Union of India, about 50 students gathered at Gandhi Bhawan in Panjab University (PU) on Saturday to protest against alleged violation of students' rights on campus to mark International Human Rights Day. Mehta condemned the permanent imposition of strict laws in PU.
On the other hand, Centre for Human Rights and Duties, University Institute of Emerging Areas in Social Sciences, PU, celebrated International Human Rights Day on Friday at Student Centre.
