Six youths arrested for 'sex' blackmail

MOHALI: Police have arrested six youths for blackmailing people by pretending to provide girls for sex. In reality, however, there were no such arrangements, as the accused would assault and snatch money from the victims. The ac cused were Surinder Partap Singh from Sector 32, Chandigarh, Mohit Taneja from ITBP complex, Behlana, Sachin Ranawat of Behlana, Saurav Saklani and Akshay Dewan of CRPF complex, and Saurav Chauhan of ITBP complex.
