Prez poll material reaches Pb

Chandigarh: Punjab chief electoral officer (CEO) S Karuna Raju on Tuesday said the election material dispatched by the Election Commission of India (ECI) for the conduct of presidential poll scheduled on July 18 has reached safely at the Punjab assembly.
The election material — designated ballot boxes, ballot papers, special pens and other sealed items — was brought from Chandigarh airport to the assembly amid tight security.The election material will remain under strict vigil round-the-clock, he added.
