Chandigarh: The executive of Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (HSGMC) on Tuesday called on chief minister
Manohar Lal Khattar here. Khattar promised HSGMC delegates an adequate response from the government. He said the verdict had been passed on to the office of advocate general for examination. “After almost eight years, the court has given this historic decision, which is a matter of great relief for Sikhs across the state,” said Khattar.
During the meeting with delegates which lasted an hour, HSGMC president Baljit Singh Daduwal discussed the next course of action. Interacting with media, Daduwal said they would follow the law of the land for taking the control of gurdwaras.
