HC lawyer loses bags to snatchers

Panchkula: Two men on a motorcycle pushed a woman advocate in Punjab and Haryana high court and took away two bags from her in Sector 25. Police have registered a case of snatching. In her complaint to the police, Navneet Kaur of Sector 25 said she had gone to the market to buy some clothes. She was carrying two handbags containing clothes and Rs 2,000 cash.When she reached near her house, two occupants of a motorcycle arrived at the spot and pushed her on the roadside. The pillion rider snatched both her bags and escaped. Sub-inspector Shyam Lal said, “We are scanning CCTV cameras installed in the nearby area.”
