Haryana ministers chair district-level programmes, highlight women achievements
Chandigarh: While chief minister Nayab Singh Saini chaired a state-level programme held at Sirsa, his cabinet colleagues chaired programmes at several district headquarters, where district-level programmes were held.The vice-chairperson of the Haryana State Child Welfare Council and wife of CM Saini, Suman Saini, chaired the district-level programme in in Kurukshetra's Ladwa, the home constituency represented by Saini himself.

During the function held at Ladwa, Suman Saini said that the state takes pride in the women of Haryana who brought laurels not only to the state but also to the entire country through their hard work, courage and talent. She said Haryana, once known mainly as the land of farmers and soldiers, is now gaining global recognition due to the remarkable achievements of its daughters. Today, daughters of Haryana are showcasing their talent in fields such as sports, science, education, the armed forces, administration and even space. Meanwhile, health and family welfare minister Aarti Rao chaired the functions held at Rewari and other places.
She highlighted the achievements of govt and women-centric welfare schemes introduced by govt. Irrigation minister Shruti Choudhary accompanied CM Saini to Sirsa and other places during the state-level programmes. Later in the evening, she joined various programmes in Bhiwani and Tosham, while urban local bodies minister Vipul Goel chaired the district-level functions held at Faridabad.
