Former HC judge Bali passes away

Chandigarh: Justice V.K. Bali, a legal luminary, retired Chief Justice of Kerala high court, former judge of Panjab and Haryana and Rajasthan high courts and ex-Chairperson of the Central Administrative Tribunal, passed away on Saturday at his Chandigarh residence. He was an alumnus of the Law Department, Panjab University.
He is survived by his wife, Kusum Bali, his daughter Charu Bali (IPS), his son Puneet Bali, who is a senior advocate, and son-in-law Sandeep Khirwar (IPS).The cremation will be held on Monday. TNN
